"He wrote to his brother Theo from Arles: “Sunshine, a light which, for want of a better word, I can only call yellow — pale sulphur yellow, pale lemon, gold. How beautiful yellow is.”'

Yellow. The sight of it. The scent of it. The sound of it. Wondrous. Thank you for including the exhibition tour. 💛

Thank you especially for the story on public will for accountability. My heart is unable to address this yet.

So much to admire about your reporting. I love all of it, but I must comment on one. I watched the video about Van Gogh and the color yellow and the exhibition -- which I would not be able to see if you had not left us a link to it. Thank you so much for just that one story!

Sir, you spoke of a larger picture re accountability, the fact that 60% doubted the explanations given by government for Ms Good's death? Well the real question for me was that means 40% believed that account. That is most chilling.

Thank you for this excellent newsletter. I hope many of your readers will feel the same outrage that I feel about the planned decimation of old growth Oregon forests that Trump plans to turn over to logging. So much of our beautiful and vitally important natural resources have been carelessly lost. There is a great imbedded article in this newsletter giving more information with links to write protests to stop this vicious assault on what remains of our forests. Please take the time to read and support saving the forests, the wildlife habitats, species and biodiversity. It’s so important! Thank you, readers, for your support.
