To wake up and find this news brings SUCH hope to me as an American! In our “ muck” of “ What is happening in our country, this reality for Hungary brings a ray of sunshine today. As a sophomore in high school I spent a few days in Hungary. I was with a group of young people from the United States. I remember that we were “ chaperoned?” by a few Hungarian youth who were , we were told, members of a “ Communist youth group. We were also told that there was a possibility that our hotel rooms were bugged and to be careful about what we said. Who knows if that was true. As an adult I am aware of the atrocities of Orban, always disgusted that Trump thought Orban was a worthy “ friend.” I am overjoyed to see history change for this country! Every time a dictatorship falls , the world is given “Hope!” I am about to head out on a sunny morning to watch my favorite neighbor run in one of his last High school track meets …… I go out with much joy and much hope! 🌝😄👏👏👏👏🤗🌎Thanks Alexander! Hungary is immensely inspirational for Americans who hope to follow their lead in booting out illiberal democracy. In America, the will of the people is trampled by the high courts. Where do we go from here?

The best news following Hungary is the video of King Charles’ greeting to Sir David and the one year anniversary of Pope Leo becoming Pope. The juxtaposition of him on his first day as Pope and Trump being the despicable human he is, iis proof Pope Leo wins again.

I almost missed the King Charles video to David Attenborough for his 100th birthday. It was lovely. No disrespect to Queen Elizabeth, but it is kind of sad it took so long for Charles to be able to make his ascent and share his views.
